So Joey Logano is in for sure, and 5 out of the top ten are non-Chasers...

Kyle Busch conquered his Kansas demons with a third place finish that likely felt like a win...

So where was the bad luck?

Greg Biffle got into Jimmie so he finished 40th... OUCH...

Junior and Brad blew tires (Junior while leading the race).. and finished 39th and 36th.. Now that has to hurt.

So the bottom four right now are...

Kasey Kahne, -25 points
Brad Keselowski, -39 points

Dale Earnhardt Jr., -42 points

Jimmie Johnson, -44 points

Jimmie, Brad and Junior are all out by nearly a full race if I am doing the math right. And Gordon is on the bubble.... Who would have thought it? These four guys won 15 races in the regular season.

So imagine an eliminator round without Brad and most of the Hendrick drivers... Probably the thing of NASCAR nightmares.

And I will be away for the next two races, arriving home after Talladega is over and the Eliminator round is set.
