Retirement

It is never too early to plan your retirement

In 13.5 years (December 5, 2031) I plan to start my retirement from my current job. A short 4938 days; at least 3528 of those will be working days. (could be more cause I sometimes work Saturdays). I will, at that point, be eligible for my full pension from the hospital.
I plan to finish paying off  my mortgage by July of 2027. About 9 years from now, which means I will be mortgage free for those last four working years. Now that I know when I am retiring, I need to decide what I want to do when I retire. The possibilities are endless:

Maybe Peace Corps in South America

UN volunteer in Africa

Working for the Red Cross wherever help is needed

To that end I am restarting a health eating plan- and I plan to keep restarting until I am successful in an exercise and eating plan that will keep me at a healthier weight than where I am now. SO I can do and go and be what I want after my working life concludes.

It is never too early to plan your happily ever after.
